São Pedro Festival 2026 in Caíde de Rei
A week of tradition, music and devotion in Caíde de Rei, with fireworks, drumming groups and concerts by Carlão, Kura and Rosinha.
The parish of Caíde de Rei dresses up for celebration once again from 29 June to 5 July for another edition of the São Pedro (St Peter) Festival, one of the most iconic celebrations in the municipality of Lousada. Over a full week, religious tradition and popular festivity come together in a programme designed for all ages.
The opening on 29 June pairs a solemn mass in honour of São Pedro with a performance by the band Republika and a fireworks display. The following days bring the parish awards ceremony, the traditional drumming night (noite de bombos) and the local cavaquinho group.
The headline nights
Friday 3 July highlights a performance by Rosinha alongside the lively Quim das Remisturas. On Saturday 4 July, Carlão takes the stage, followed by international DJ Kura and Zanova, with a large pyromusical show in between.
Sunday 5 July is devoted to tradition, with a solemn mass and the São Pedro procession, closing with live bands, entertainment and fireworks. Entry is free. Please confirm timings with the organisers before travelling.
