Have an idea to make Lousada more sustainable? The Lousada Sustainable Fund (Fundo Lousada Sustentável) is a municipal scheme designed to reward and fund student projects in sustainability.

Who can apply

It is open to students from the first year of basic school all the way to master’s level in higher education. You do not need to live in Lousada — what matters is that the project delivers environmental and social benefits for the municipality, whatever its scale.

How it works

Applicants submit a sustainability project. Proposals are assessed by a panel made up of a representative of the Municipality, a representative of a higher-education institution, and a representative of a non-governmental organisation working in environmental education and nature conservation.
