Milagre Metaleiro has its full line-up and tickets out, and Paradise Lost are heading to a village near Viseu
Milagre Metaleiro Open Air 2026 runs 21 to 23 August in Pindelo dos Milagres, Sao Pedro do Sul, with Paradise Lost, Insomnium and Destruction. Three-day passes cost 75 euros.
Some festivals happen in vast fenced grounds with a sponsor on every lamppost. And then there is Milagre Metaleiro, which happens in a village in Sao Pedro do Sul and drags international metal up into the hills, with local food three minutes from the stage.
When is Milagre Metaleiro 2026?
From 21 to 23 August, in Pindelo dos Milagres. This is the seventeenth edition, which by now makes it an institution on the Portuguese circuit, the kind people return to every year and where half the crowd knows the other half by name.
This year’s bill closed heavy. Britain’s Paradise Lost headline, joined by Sweden’s The Haunted and Germany’s Destruction, Crematory and Primal Fear. Finland’s Insomnium bring the melodic side, and Blaze Bayley plays a special Iron Maiden set, which for plenty of people justifies half the ticket on its own. Spain’s Saurom and Austria’s Belphegor round out the line-up.
How much do Milagre Metaleiro tickets cost?
In advance sale, the three-day pass is 75 euros and a day ticket is 43. Set against what a single day costs at any of the big coastal festivals, it is one of the easier sums of the Portuguese summer. Camping is attached to the site, with details on the official ticket page.
