It won’t be long now. Portuguese actress Kelly Bailey is expecting her second child and, judging by her latest posts, the due date is nearly here. This week she showed off her now sizeable bump again, and the reaction was predictable: thousands of warm comments and one “beautiful bump” after another.
The pregnancy was announced earlier this year, in a playful video alongside her partner, fellow actor Lourenço Ortigão, and the couple’s first child, Vicente Blue, born in July 2023. Since then Kelly has been sharing the small milestones of this second pregnancy with her followers.
When is the baby due, and is it a boy or a girl?
The couple are expecting a girl — the sex is already known, though the name remains a closely guarded secret. In recent weeks Kelly has admitted to hitting the “nesting” phase, the one where all you want to do is sort the nursery, fold tiny clothes and get everything ready. By the tone of her posts, baby number two should arrive soon.
For now, the long-rumoured wedding to Lourenço Ortigão is being put on hold. The baby comes first; the party is a story for another chapter, as the couple themselves have hinted.
