Portugal's IEFP tender to support the Qualification of People with Disabilities has an 80-million-euro budget, 85% funded by ESF+, and accepts applications from training providers until 6pm on 30 July 2026.
Apply / Learn moreThere are 80 million euros on the table to train and qualify people with disabilities in Portugal — and anyone who wants a share has until 6pm on 30 July. The IEFP tender supporting the Qualification of People with Disabilities (PCDI) has been open since February, and the deadline, already extended once, is now in its final stretch.
Who can apply for the disability training support?
Training providers — institutions working in professional rehabilitation and in training people with disabilities. This isn’t a benefit paid directly to individuals: the money funds the training programmes that then reach the trainees. The overall budget is 80 million euros, 85% financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), and the stated goal is to promote active inclusion and employability.
How and when do you submit an application?
By 6pm on 30 July 2026, under the notice published by IEFP — the starting point is the official tender page on the IEFP site, which links to the form and regulations. As with anything involving European funds, the technical file matters: detailed training plans, budgets and outcome indicators above all.
For organisations in the sector, it’s one of the largest budgets ever in this area — joining the arsenal of employment supports we’ve been tracking, like IEFP’s +Emprego hiring support. Two weeks left, and 80 million reasons not to let it slide.
