Evil Live fills Lisbon's MEO Arena with rock and metal this Sunday
The urban festival devoted to metal, hardcore and alternative rock returns to Lisbon on 5 July — for anyone who likes their summer in distortion mode.
While half the country hunts for a beach and a patch of shade to escape the heat, some people prefer their summer with the guitars turned up to eleven. For them, Sunday’s plan is set: Evil Live lands at the MEO Arena in Lisbon on 5 July.
What to expect from Evil Live?
It is an urban festival with a clear identity — metalcore, hardcore and alternative rock, all served inside an air-conditioned hall, which, let us be honest, on a weekend like this is halfway to happiness already. Trading blistering sun for an indoor venue and a wall of sound is not for everyone, but if you love the genre you know exactly what we mean.
The MEO Arena is a familiar home for events like this: good acoustics, transport right outside at Oriente station, and the Parque das Nações area next door to grab a bite before doors open. If you are coming from out of town, it is one of the easiest venues to reach in Lisbon.
Before you go
As always, confirm the schedule and band list with the organisers before you leave — line-ups can change at the last minute, and nobody wants to arrive halfway through the headliner. And with the country in extreme heat, drink water and take it easy until you are inside.
