FACECO 2026: São Teotónio hosts Odemira's 34th fair, July 16–19
FACECO 2026 runs July 16–19 in São Teotónio, with free entry on the opening day and concerts by Buba Espinho, Miguel Gameiro and Toy.
FACECO returns to São Teotónio from 16 to 19 July for its 34th edition, and this year entry is free on the opening day. It is the big fair of the Odemira district, four days in which the Alentejo town fills up with food, crafts, local produce and concerts, well off the big-festival circuit but with a character all its own.
When is FACECO 2026?
From Thursday 16 July to Sunday 19 July, in São Teotónio, in the district of Odemira. It runs across four days, with the grounds hosting livestock, farming, tourism and craft showcases alongside the produce that made Portugal’s southwest famous. It is the kind of municipal fair that mixes business with village celebration, families spending the afternoon between food stalls and stands.
How much is entry?
The first day, 16 July, is free. It is worth using the Thursday to explore the grounds before the weekend crowds arrive, especially if the plan is to try the local food at a relaxed pace.
Who plays the main stage?
The line-up brings Buba Espinho on 17 July, Miguel Gameiro & Pólo Norte on 18 July and Toy on 19 July. It is a selection built to please several generations, from renewed fado to Portuguese pop-rock and the popular music that keeps the party going late.
