Festival da Comida Continente 2026: two days of free food and concerts in Porto on 11-12 July
The Festival da Comida Continente returns to Porto's Parque da Cidade on 11-12 July with free entry, top chefs, MC Livinho, Karetus, Tony Carreira, Anselmo Ralph and Sara Correia.
A whole weekend of good food and live music without buying a ticket: the Festival da Comida Continente is back at Porto’s Parque da Cidade this Saturday and Sunday, 11-12 July, for its eighth edition — still one of the biggest free food-and-entertainment events in Portugal.
When is the Festival da Comida Continente 2026 and how much does it cost?
Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July at the Parque da Cidade (Queimódromo entrance), gates open at 10:30am — running until midnight on Saturday and 11pm on Sunday. Entry is free, no registration needed. The full programme is on the festival’s official site.
Who is playing at Parque da Cidade this weekend?
The line-up mixes generations without apology. Saturday belongs to hip-hop and electronica: Mizzy Miles (6:15pm), Brazil’s MC Livinho (9:15pm) and Karetus (10:45pm) close the night. Sunday changes register — Sara Correia brings fado, Anselmo Ralph the ballads, and Tony Carreira takes the stage at 9:30pm for that mass singalong that never misses. In between there are showcookings with well-known chefs, wine tastings, food experiences and an expanded kids’ programme — bring the children, the venue is literally a park.
A practical tip: parking nearby fills up fast on festival days, so the metro to Estádio do Mar or a bus are safer bets. And if you’re stacking up the weekend, the Festas da Cidade da Maia carry on a few kilometres away until 13 July — you can easily do both.
