Sol da Caparica 2026 has locked its lineup and tickets are on sale — four beach days of Lusophone music
Sol da Caparica 2026 runs 13-16 August at Costa da Caparica's urban park in Almada, with Calema, Slow J, Quim Barreiros, Nininho Vaz Maia and Sam the Kid. Day-by-day lineup and tickets on sale now.
There is one festival in Portugal where accordion legend Quim Barreiros and rapper Slow J share a poster and nobody blinks — and it is now less than a month away. Sol da Caparica returns to the Parque Urbano da Costa da Caparica, in Almada, from 13 to 16 August, with the lineup locked, tickets on sale and the same recipe as ever: serious Portuguese-language music, from fado to hip hop, a short walk from the beach.
Who plays Sol da Caparica 2026?
Day one, 13 August, opens with fado singer Sara Correia, Brazilian duo Maiara & Maraisa, Orochi, Landrick and Papillon. On the 14th the Via Verde stage hosts Veigh, Mizzy Miles, João Pedro Pais and Calema; the 15th brings Vizinhos, Deejay Telio, Nininho Vaz Maia, MC Kevinho and the Mundo Segundo & Sam the Kid duo; and the 16th closes big with Quim Barreiros, Lon3r Johny, MC Paiva, ÁTOA and Slow J. The Sagres stage runs DJs and acts like Más Influências and Memo à Tuga.
When is it and how much are tickets?
Thursday to Sunday, 13-16 August, with day tickets plus two-day and four-day passes sold through Blueticket and the usual outlets — full details are on the festival’s official site. A nice touch: residents of the Almada municipality get special prices on proof of address, and under-18s enter accompanied or with a signed authorisation.
August is crowded with alternatives — that same week Paredes de Coura fills the Taboão amphitheatre up in the Minho — but if you want a festival with sand between your toes and a lineup sung in Portuguese, Sol da Caparica still has no real rival.
