Noites dos Jardins do Palácio has its dates and tickets — Porto, 11 and 12 September
Noites dos Jardins do Palácio 2026 runs 11 and 12 September at the Palácio de Cristal gardens in Porto, with Pedro Abrunhosa, Bárbara Bandeira, Nenny and more.
September in Porto usually feels like the season winding down. This year it gets extra time. Noites dos Jardins do Palácio returns on 11 and 12 September for two evenings of open-air music in the Palácio de Cristal gardens, and the line-up is now confirmed.
Who plays on which night?
Friday 11 September brings Pedro Abrunhosa, Tiago Nacarato and Rita Rocha. Abrunhosa and Porto have their own long history, so expect a crowd that knows every word. Nacarato brings the whispered voice and the Brazilian thread running through his songs, and Rita Rocha is the newest name on the first night.
Saturday 12 shifts register entirely: T-Rex, Bárbara Bandeira and Nenny. Rap, pop and R&B from three artists who fill playlists and who, each in their own way, pulled a younger audience into Portuguese music. The programming clearly avoids serving the same evening twice.
What time does it start and where do you buy tickets?
Both nights begin at 6pm. Tickets are on sale through Ticketline, with day tickets available, and the event runs in partnership with Porto city council.
The setting does half the work. The Palácio de Cristal gardens slope down towards the river, peacocks wander among the crowd, and the view over the Douro needs no introduction. Watching a set there as the sun drops is a different proposition to watching one in a concrete arena.
If you are still assembling a summer calendar, there is plenty more free programming around, including Lisboa Mágica filling 13 squares with street magic in August. But if there is only room for one weekend away, Porto in September is a good bet.
