Fortnite has gone full pirate. Treasure Hunters, Epic Games’ crossover season with One Piece, starts on 1 November and runs up to the Chapter 7 finale event on Saturday 5 December. The official Fortnite account teased it on X with chests to crack and treasure to claim.
Chests to crack. Crews to beat. Sprites to catch. Treasure to claim.

Who arrives, and when
The crew is being released in waves. Monkey D. Luffy, Nami and Usopp are in the Item Shop from day one. Zoro, Sanji and a Chopper Sidekick follow on 7 November, and Buggy on 13 November. The guest list also stretches well beyond the anime: A$AP Rocky lands on 5 November, Lil Uzi Vert on the 12th, and Kasane Teto with a captain version of Hatsune Miku on the 14th.
If you would rather not buy characters one by one, the Battle Pass carries Portgas D. Ace and Nico Robin, plus anime-style looks for two Fortnite regulars, Jonesy and Charlotte.
What changes on the map
There is a new 80-player island, Crossbones Isle, which you cross by firing yourself out of a cannon, and two places One Piece fans will spot straight away: Arlong Park and Windmill Village. Luffy brings his Gum-Gum Fruit powers and Zoro his Three Sword Style.
Each week a new captain and crew take over a point of interest. Captain’s Days, with special weapons and drops, fall on 1, 7, 12, 14 and 21 November, and the first one opens today at 9am Eastern (2pm in Lisbon and London). Mondays put captains’ weapons in every match, and Sundays boost the loot.
It lands in a busy week for games, a few days after news that Pokémon UNITE shuts down in March 2027. Fortnite, by contrast, is only just setting sail.
